Position Title: Assistant Producers
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Contract (depending on the employer)
Reports To: Senior Producer, Executive Producer, or Production Manager


Job Summary:
The Assistant Producer will support the production team in planning, coordinating, and executing various live events, shows, or multimedia projects in Las Vegas. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for entertainment, production, and event management, with experience in assisting with the logistical and creative aspects of productions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-Production Support:
    • Assist in the planning and coordination of production schedules, budgets, and timelines.
    • Coordinate with vendors, talent, and crew to ensure all production needs are met.
    • Help secure permits, licenses, and other necessary documentation for events or shoots.
    • Organize and maintain production files, scripts, and schedules.
  2. On-Site Production Assistance:
    • Support the Senior Producer during live events, shows, or recordings.
    • Manage communication between production teams, talent, and technical staff.
    • Oversee the setup and breakdown of production equipment and sets.
    • Ensure all production elements (lighting, sound, staging, etc.) are executed according to plan.
  3. Post-Production Tasks:
    • Assist with editing, reviewing, and delivering final production materials.
    • Help archive footage, scripts, and other production assets.
    • Provide feedback and notes for post-production improvements.
  4. Administrative Duties:
    • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take detailed notes.
    • Track expenses and maintain production budgets.
    • Handle travel arrangements, accommodations, and per diems for crew and talent.
  5. Creative Collaboration:
    • Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance production quality.
    • Assist in script revisions, storyboarding, and creative planning.
    • Collaborate with marketing and promotional teams to align production goals with event objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 1-3 years of experience in production, event management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of live event production, including lighting, sound, and staging.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by production schedules.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in Las Vegas’s entertainment or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with large-scale events, concerts, or theatrical productions.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and entertainment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during events.
  • Capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
